| Lead Designer: Website / Interactive / Print
Insyntrix is seeking a sharp, creative powerhouse to have an active role on the front lines alongside our production team. This full time position is available now for immediate hire.
Personality
You are a jack-of-all-trades creative powerhouse that understands the demands of a creative production environment. You like designing new web interfaces, bold graphics and fun campaigns that integrate the best in new media technology. You are both analytical and abstract in your thinking and can synthesize client requests into streamlined plans of action. You are stress-resistant and thrive on solving problems on each project. Clients like you and wish they could think like you. You’ve seen The Matrix at least 14 times and visit art galleries while reading Wired magazine in your spare time.
Responsibilities
You will be working very closely with sales, project management and the production team to develop exciting new solutions everyday. Your work ethics and attention to details will always be a factor as you work closely with the team and clients. Understanding how websites, content management systems, databases, graphics, SEO and print campaigns can all relate to each other will be a key goal each day as our team delivers exciting new solutions in a variety of areas.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have solid production experience demonstrating a clean and professional portfolio with an emphasis on website design and development in addition to base print graphic design knowledge. A strong marketing sense demonstrated through your work or past experience is a must. The person should have a solid understanding of the standard multimedia applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and InDesign. This person must also demonstrate the ability to work with many types of visual styles and skilled team members. Strong references and solid portfolio are required.
• Knowledge of SEO a big plus
• Base understanding of databases a plus
• Coding a simple website is not a challenge
• Knowledge of jQuery, PHP, CSS and JavaScript preferred
• Knowledge of popular content management systems preferred
• Clean and fresh design and bold ideas are a must
• Looking for strong website production and design skills
• Should have strong design instincts and potential
• Agency or marketing firm experience a large plus
• A deep love of Star Wars gives you extra credit
Compensation
This salaried position pays based on experience and your portfolio. Medical benefits paid at 50% are included.
